HAPPY NEW YEAR-2022

Wishing you HAPPY NEW YEAR-2022 of "Gregorian calendar", also known as Solar (the Sun) dating system. 

It was proclaimed in 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII as a reform of the faulty Julian calendar. 

However, our Hindu Calendar, Panchanga (पञ्चाङ्ग or पंचांग) is one of Lunisolar (based on both the Sun & Moon) calendar traditionally being used in the Indian subcontinent and South-east Asia.

The Hindu calendar maintains the integrity of the lunar month (पूर्णिमा & अमावस्या), but inserts an extra full month by complex rules, once every 32–33 months.

However, no calender is perfect, and has some slight shortcomings in it.
